It’s risky. Yes.

Risk.

Beginning something new is a risk.
Setting a new goal is a risk.
Resign a job is a risk.
Starting a new business is a risk.
Even posting on social media is a risk.

Maybe that’s why so many people talk about their ideas,
but never just start working towards making those ideas come to life.

Because, it takes courage.

Because once you start, and actually get things out there, you’ll see that it’s impossible to be perfect.

You’ll fail.
You’ll risk sounding stupid.
You’ll probably accumulate a few haters and trolls along the way.

But if you’re able to get over your own fear of looking dumb, of failing, of not being perfect,

Actually,

you may just find that you have something that helps others,
that will help solve their problem and get them to where they want to go.

We need to lay down our need to be perfect for the benefit of others.

Because, perfectionism is a selfish pursuit.

I encourage you to silence perfectionism when it starts to whisper it’s demands in your ear.

Have courage to just get out there and do something for the world.

And, I choose to take the risk.
It’s risky. Yes.
But it’s worth it.
For you, and for those you serve.

So I will put aside my “fear of looking dumb, of failing, of not being perfect” in pursuit of giving value to you.

Fear not.

I learn from it, so that I can give value to others.
